What a planned maintenance contract covers

Our planned maintenance contracts make sure that your doors stay working as they should. We can service all makes of automatic doors, whoever installed them, along with manual, aluminium, timber and fire doors.

Public access must include full safety, so every automatic door service visit includes a BS EN 16005 safety checklist and a written report for your records.

For a commercial entrance in public use we recommend servicing at least once a year, and more often on high traffic sites such as supermarkets and hospitals.

If you have several branches, we can put every site on the same planned maintenance schedule under one arrangement.

Rest assured that we will only allow BS EN 16005 qualified technicians to carry out repairs and servicing.

Glass door repairs and maintenance

Many shop and office entrances use glass or aluminium-framed glass doors hung on floor springs, pivots and top centres. A worn bottom pivot, a failed floor spring or a loose top centre is the usual reason a glass door drops, drags or will not close properly, and these parts can normally be replaced without changing the door.

Breakdowns between service visits

We also provide a reactive call-out service. Within our core Yorkshire area we aim to attend emergencies within four hours during working hours, and we will confirm a realistic attendance time when you call.

Our engineers carry common replacement parts, so many repairs are finished in a single visit.
